Moreover, the steps taken to mitigate greenhouse effects (emission quotas) will also have an economic impact in terms of prices, income distribution and growth.<\/div>\n<p>To assess such effects in the long term, it is proposed to develop a general equilibrium macroeconomic model to shed light on the agricultural sector in the broad sense (agriculture, forestry and livestock production). The model will be small sized, dynamic and recursive, will take risk into account and will use the GTAP international database.
