Le XVème Congrès Forestier Mondial organisé par la FAO à Séoul, Corée du Sud, devant avoir lieu du 24 au 28 mai 2021, a été reporté du 2 au 6 mai 2022.
Le thème de ce Congrès est : « Construire un avenir vert, sain et résilient avec les forêts ».
Le GIP Ecofor y a co-organisé le Side event « A Challenge to harmonize international efforts to fight against deforestation: towards a new, ecologically robust typology of the world’s forests « .
